We’d heard about Gloworm Festival but having never been to a family festival before we weren’t really sure what it was all about; when some of our family told us they were going we decided to give it a try and booked day tickets for Sunday 19th August; for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) it was £75.00 which we thought was really reasonable for a day out and as it turned out was totally worth every penny!

There was so much to do for all the family, we were definitely not disappointed! The huge White Post Farm set up was a winner with the girls; especially Dylan the lamb and the unicorn/ dinosaur jumping set up! They also loved meeting the Sylvanian Families, Twilight Sparkle, Playmobil characters and even the giant, walking Play-Doh tub. We all had fun trying out the circus skills and taking advantage of the free fun fair rides in the afternoon. There were different sensory play areas, loads of food choices (yummy Halloumi fries!) and the entertainment on the stage was brilliant, we all had a dance to the Amy Winehouse tribute act!

There are camping (and I believe glamping) options available for anyone who wants to make a weekend of it which we definitely want to do next year so that we can experience everything on offer; there were some things we missed out on just going for the one day.

We absolutely loved the family friendly atmosphere and the fact there was so much entertainment on offer and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great family festival experience.
